Your benefits for health insurance cover levels
Diagnostic Tests & Scans
If you require diagnostic tests, such as blood tests or x-rays, to help assess your condition, Bupa will cover the cost up to the full amount or up to the annual combined out patients benefit limit of £500, £700 or £1,000.
If you need diagnostic scans, such as MRI, CT and PET scans, to help determine or assess your condition as an outpatient, Bupa will cover the amount in full.
If you suffer from mental health issues which require psychiatric help or wellbeing therapy, Bupa will cover the cost up to the full amount or up to your annual combined outpatient benefit limit of £500 £750 or £1000. For day case treatment, You have 28 days for inpatient and day-case treatment (combined) each year.
Bupa will pay the full amount of home nursing charges immediately following private eligible in-patient treatment that is covered under your policy.
Bupa will cover the full amount of outpatient therapy, if a Bupa recognised therapist is chosen. This includes therapies such as physiotherapy for your eligible treatment.
