Choose from two levels of pet insurance

Direct Line’s pet insurance options include two levels of cover, Essential and Advanced, which provide competitive cover and additional benefits for your pet. There is a useful guide to the types of benefits available below.

The claim limit for each insurance option is subject to excesses, which are the amounts you have to pay for each claim. For veterinary fees an excess applies once per condition and is currently £80 for cats and £95 for dogs. There is also an optional voluntary excess – currently £160 for cats and £190 for dogs. If you choose this optional excess, your premium will be lower. There is also an excess of £250 for material damage to property under Third Party Liability.

The policy documents have the full terms and conditions. For more information visit Direct Line’s official website.
