Insure Your Paws currently offers three level of pet insurance, including Accident Only, Maximum Benefit and Lifetime Cover. Each policy includes competitive veterinary fee cover and reliable benefits that are renewed each policy year (Lifetime Only). There is a useful guide to the types of benefits available below.

Death From Illness and Injury
If your pet dies as a result from illness or injury, Insure Your Paws will cover the original costs of your pet, from £500 to £1,500.
Third Party Liability
If your dog causes injury or accident, Insure Your Paws will cover Third Party Liability claims, from £1 million to £2 million per incident.
Loss By Theft/Straying & Advertising
If your pet strays or is stolen, Insure Your Paws will cover the original cost of your pet as well as the advertising and reward costs up to £750 – £1,500.
If your pet needs to stay in kennels or cattery’s while you have an emergency hospital visit, Insure Your Paws will cover the cost of boarding fees up to £750
What animals can I insure with Insure Your Paws?
Insure Your Paws provide pet insurance cover for cats and dogs. To start your policy, your pet must be older than eight weeks and younger than eight years of age for dogs and 10 years for cats.
What types of policy do Insure Your Paws offer?
Insure Your Paws offer three different policy types for cats and dogs. Accident Only, which covers accidents up to 12 months, Max Benefit, which covers illness and injury up to the maximum vet fee limit, and Lifetime policies, which covers your pet up to the vet fee limit for all covered illnesses and injuries per policy year.
Does Insure Your Paws cover pre-existing conditions?
Insure Your Paws provides cover for a pet who has previously suffered from illness or injury. However, any injury, illness or condition diagnosed before the policy was taken out, will not be covered and will be excluded from your terms of cover as a pre existing condition.
How long does it take to assess a claim?
While there is no time limit for assessing your claim, Insure Your Paws advise you to complete the claim form as soon as possible with your vet for a quick and easy transaction. They also aim to assist you with your claim every step of the way, by phone or by mail.

About Insure Your Paws Insurance
Insure Your Paws currently provides three levels of cover, Accident Only, Maximum Benefit and Lifetime Cover.
Accident Only Cover covers your pet to the maximum vet fee (up to £2,000) for up to 12 months of each covered accident. Once the 12 month time limit or maximum vet fee limit has passed, the injury will no longer be covered.
Maximum Benefit Cover covers up to the maximum vet fee limit (up to £6,000) for each covered illness and injury, providing all premiums are paid on time. Cover will continue until the vet limit is reached for a particular condition. Once it has, the condition will no longer be covered.
Lifetime Reinstatement covers your pet up to the vet fee limit (up to £10,000)for all covered illnesses and injuries per policy year. There is no limit how long you can claim for as long as your premiums are paid up to date and the insurer continues to renew your policy.
