About Pet Protect

Pet Protect was first launched in 1983, with the aim to help customers meet the cost of expensive treatments. Their specialist background in veterinary care guides their pet insurance policies to this day. That’s why Pet Protect offer truly comprehensive insurance to help consumers give their pets the support, treatment and medication their vet recommends.

About Pet Protect

Pet Protect’s Lifetime policies provide an annual benefit limit which is replenished each year. The limit is reinstated upon the policies renewal and covers veterinary fees from £4,000 to £6,000 and ongoing specialist treatment.

Pet Protect’s Condition Care is a Maximum Benefit policy which covers a pet per unrelated condition until the vet fees limit for each illness or accident is used up. After this, treatment for that illness or accident will no longer be included in the policy for the remainder of the policy’s life. The Maximum Benefit Policy covers veterinary treatment up to £3,000 in vet fees per condition and provides up to £1 million in third party liability cover for dogs.

Pet Protect’s Time Care policy covers veterinary fees up to a limit of £1,000 or £3,000. Each pet will be covered for a maximum of 12 months from the date the illness or injury was first noticed or until the vet fees limit has been reached. Once this has occurred, that injury or illness will be excluded from cover for the remainder of the policy’s life.
