Your benefits for travel insurance cover levels
If you are injured or become ill whilst traveling abroad and require emergency medical treatment, Aviva will cover the cost of medical bills up to £10,000,000 as standard. This further extends to emergency dental treatment and repatriation.
Cancellation or Curtailment
If you need to cancel or abandon your trip due to reasons stated within your travel insurance policy, Aviva will cover the unrecoverable cost of your trip up to £5,000. This further extends to pre-paid excursions up to £250 as standard.
Travel Documents & Money
If your personal belongings are stolen, lost or damaged during your travels, Aviva will cover the cost of getting emergency travel documents up to £750. In addition to this, they will also cover the cost of lost money up to £400 and delayed baggage up to £150.

What countries are not covered by Aviva?
Aviva will not provide cover for countries or areas which the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) has advised against all travel to. This also includes areas with ‘advised against all but essential travel’. To check your destination’s FCO advice, visit https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/
Does Aviva Cover Pre-Existing Conditions?
Yes. Aviva can provide cover for medical conditions on top of your basic quote. You will need to fill in an online questionnaire relating to your condition and Aviva will then decide whether they can provide cover and what extra premium is required.
How Long Does It Take To Assess A Claim?
Aviva do not provide a time limit for dealing with claims.
