Choose from one level of travel insurance
The table below shows a summary of AXA’s travel insurance options. They currently only have one level of cover for each insurance policy and offer a variety of benefits and generous cover. There is a useful guide to the types of benefits available, below.
There is also a payable excess, which is fixed until the end of the policy. This is excess ranges from £50 – £100 depending on your level of cover and is payable per claim, unless stated otherwise.
Your benefits for travel insurance cover levels
If you suffer a medical emergency whilst on holiday, AXA will cover the cost of your medical bills and repatriation up to £15,000,000 depending on your level of cover. AXA will also cover the cost of emergency dental treatment, up to £1,000, hospital benefit up to £2,000 and meal expenses up to £200.
If your personal belongings are lost, stolen or damaged during your travels, AXA will cover the cost of essential items up to £2,500. This includes a total valuables limit up to £500, a single item limit of £500, personal money up to £750 and important documents up to £500. Please note that the limit will depend on your level of coverage.
If your holiday is cancelled or cut short for the reasons stated within your policy booklet, AXA will cover the unspent/unused cost of your trip up to £5,000. This further extends to trip abandonment cover up to £5,000, depending on your level of cover.
Legal & Liability
If your found liable for damage, injury or loss, AXA will cover the cost of legal expenses up tp £2,000,000, depending on your level of cover.
What Type Of Policies Do AXA Offer?
AXA currently offer two main travel insurance policies, Single and Annual Multi Trip. They also provide optional add ons such as Cruise, Winter Sports, Gold and Medical Condition cover to ensure your fully covered for your trip
What countries are not covered by AXA?
AXA will not provide cover for countries or areas which the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) has advised against all travel to. This also includes areas with ‘advised against all but essential travel’. To check your destination’s FCO advice, visit https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/
