Choose from four levels of travel insurance
Coverwise provide four levels of travel insurance, including Single, Annual, Business and Winter. Each policy contains a variety of benefits and competitive cover. There is a useful guide to the type of benefits featured, below.
There is also a payable excess, which is fixed until the end of the policy. Coverwise have £50 excess which is payable per claim and can be waived depending on your level of cover.

Your benefits for travel insurance cover levels
If you suffer an accident or injury whilst on holiday, Coverwise will cover your medical expenses up to £20,000,000 depending on your level of cover.
If your flights are cancelled, Coverwise will cover the cost up to £6,000.
If you suffer a life changing accident, Coverwise will provide a payout of up to £80,000 if you are unable to return to work.
If you cause loss or damage while you’re travelling abroad, Coverwise will cover the damage up to £2,000,000 as standard.
What Type Of Policies Do Coverwise Offer?
Coverwise currently offer four policies, Single, Annual, Business and Winter. Each policy has three levels of cover so you can pick the right level of cover for your trip.
What countries are not covered by Coverwise?
Coverwise does not provide cover for countries or areas which the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) has advised against all travel to. This also includes areas with ‘advised against all but essential travel’. To check your destination’s FCO advice, visit https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice
Does Coverwise Cover Pre-Existing Conditions?
Coverwise now offer cover for pre-existing medical conditions on “select” policies. In order to obtain cover, you will be subject to a brief assessment and asked questions about your condition. If you do not declare your conditions and claim for medical treatment abroad, your claim will be declined on the basis it was not previously declared.
How Long Does It Take To Assess A Claim?
Coverwise aim to answer all emails within 48 hours of receipt if received during their normal office opening hours. Responses will be delayed if Coverwise are contacted after 2pm on Saturday or anytime on a Sunday or Bank Holiday.
