Your benefits for travel insurance cover levels
If you suffer an accident or illness abroad, which requires emergency medical attention, Debenhams will cover the cost of medical treatment up to £10,000,000 as standard. This further extends to dental expenses up to £1,000, funeral expenses up to £2,000 and hospital benefit for £25 per day up to £600. Please note, these figures all depends on your level of cover.
If you need to cancel or cut your holiday short for any of the reasons stated in your policy documents, Debenhams will cover the unused or unrecoverable cost of your trip.
Delayed Baggage Cover
If your baggage is delayed whilst travelling abroad, Debenhams will cover you up to £25 per day, up to £500, depending on your level of coverage.
If you fall ill abroad and your pets require extended stay in kennels or catteries, Debenhams will cover the cost up to £25 per day up to £250 as standard.
What Type Of Policies Do Debenhams Offer?
Debenhams offer two travel insurance policies, Single and Annual Trip. Each policy comes with optional add ons, such as winter sports, cover for over 65’s, cruise, golf, wedding and medical conditions cover.
What countries are not covered by Debenhams?
Debenhams will not provide cover for countries or areas which the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) has advised against all travel to. Does Debenhams Cover Pre-Existing Conditions?
Yes. Debenhams provides cover for those with previous or ongoing medical conditions. To qualify for coverage, you will need to declare all medical conditions you have. Failure to do so could result in your cover being voided or your claim not being covered for that condition.
How Long Does It Take To Assess A Claim?
Debenhams do not provide a time limit for dealing with claims.
