Your benefits for travel insurance cover levels
Should you require emergency medical attention, Essential Travel will cover the cost of your medical bills up to £10,000,000 depending on your level of cover. This further extends to a hospital benefit up to £1,200.
If you suffer an accident that results in total, permanent, disability, loss of limbs or sight, Essential Travel will provide a financial benefit, if you’re unable to return to work, up to £30,000, depending on your level of cover.
If you have to cancel or cut your trip short due to any reason outlined in your policy documents, Essential Travel will cover the unused or unrecoverable cost of your trip up to £5,000, depending on your level of cover.
If your pets are in boarding kennels and you are unable to return home due to an accident or illness abroad, Essential Travel will cover the cost of your pets extended stay up to £200, depending on your level of cover.
What Type Of Policies Do Essential Travel Offer?
Essential travel offer two main travel insurance policies, Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip. They also provide other travel insurance policies, including Medical Conditions and Cover For Children.
What countries are not covered by Essential Travel?
Essential Travel will not provide cover for countries or areas which the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) has advised against all travel to. Does Essential Travel Cover Pre-Existing Conditions?
Yes. Essential Travel does provide cover for medical conditions. If you have ever had a disease or illness which has received medication, advice or treatment for, it will need to be declared to Essential Travel to ensure it is covered.
