Choose from five levels of travel insurance

Esure offers two travel insurance policies; Single and Annual trip.Each policy comes with three levels of cover, including Essential, Classic and Extra. Each level comes with a variety of benefits and addons which can also be included within the policy. There is a useful guide to the type of benefits featured below.

Esure policies also come with a payable excess, which is fixed until the end of the policy. This excess ranges from £25 – £100, depending on your level of cover and is payable per claim. For more information, visit Esure’s official website.

Your benefits for travel insurance cover levels

Cancellation or Curtailment

If you have to cancel or curtail your trip, Esure will cover the unused cost of your trip to up to £7,500, depending on your level of cover.

Medical and Repatriation

If you suffer a medical emergency while holidaying abroad, Esure will cover medical bills up to £20,000,000. However, lower levels of cover also offer a competitive cover rate of £10,000,000 – £15,000,000.

Personal Liability

If you cause an accident, damage or are found liable for the death and/or injury of others, Esure will cover the cost up to £2,000,000, as standard.

Pet Care

If your return home is delayed, Esure will provide cover for your pet’s extra kennel or cattery costs, up to £750.

What countries are not covered by Esure?

Esure do not provide cover for countries or areas which the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) has advised against all travel to. This also includes areas with ‘advised against all but essential travel’. To check your destination’s FCO advice, visit https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/

Does Esure Cover Pre-Existing Conditions?

Yes. Esure do provide cover for existing medical conditions. Their medical screening questionnaire will confirm whether claims relating to an existing medical condition will be covered on the policy.

How Long Does It Take To Assess A Claim?

Esure does not provide a time scale for assessing claims.
