Choose from two levels of travel insurance
Go Travel Insurance offers two levels of insurance product, including GO Single Trip and GO Annual Travel Insurance. Cover for Winter Sports can also be included within these policies. There is a useful guide to the type of benefits featured, below.
Go Travel policies also come with a payable excess, which is fixed until the end of the policy. This excess ranges from £95 – £200, depending on your level of cover and is payable per claim. For more information, visit Go Travel’s official website.
Your benefits for travel insurance cover levels
If you require emergency medical attention, Go Travel Insurance will cover your medical bills up to £5,000,000, depending on your level of cover. This also extends to £400 emergency dental cover and £300 hospital benefit (Premier cover only).
If your baggage is lost, stolen or damaged while holidaying abroad, Go Travel Insurance will cover your personal belongings up to £1,500 per person. Please note that the following limits apply:
- Up to £300 for any one article
- Up to £400 for the total for all valuables
Go Travel Insurance will pay up to £3,000 per person for your unused and irrecoverable costs if you have to cancel or cut short your trip
If your personal money is stolen, lost or damaged, Go Travel Insurance will cover the cost, with the following limits:
- Up to £100 for cash
- Up to £50 for cash if under the age of 16
- Up to £225 for all other personal money
Go Travel Insurance will also pay up to £255 per person for additional accommodation and transport costs if you need a replacement passport, if yours is lost, stolen or damaged.

What countries are not covered by Go Travel Insurance?
Multi-Trip do not provide cover for countries or areas which the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) has advised against all travel to. This also includes areas with ‘advised against all but essential travel’. To check your destination’s FCO advice, visit https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/
Does Go Travel Insurance Cover Pre-Existing Conditions?
No. None of the policies offered by GO travel insurance offer cover for pre-existing medical conditions.
How Long Does It Take To Assess A Claim?
Go Travel Insurance does not provide a time limit for dealing with claims.
