Choose from three levels of travel insurance
World First offers three levels of travel insurance, Classic, Standard and Premier. Each level of cover comes with a variety of of benefits and optional add ons to ensure you get the most of your cover. There is a useful guide to the type of benefits featured below.
World First policies also come with payable excess, which is fixed until the end of the policy. This excess is £50 across all levels of cover and is payable per claim.
Your benefits for travel insurance cover levels
If you require emergency medical attention whilst holidaying abroad, World First will cover the cost of your medical bills up to £10,000,000 as standard. This further extends to emergency dental work up to £400 and hospital benefit up to £1,000, depending on your level of cover.
If you suffer an accident that results in total permanent disability or loss of limbs or sight, World First will provide a financial benefit, if you’re unable to return to work, up to £20,000. However, if you die of accidental death while holidaying abroad, World First will provide a financial benefit up to £15,000.
If you have to cancel your trip or cut it short due to one of the reasons stated within your policy documents, World First will cover the unused cost of your trip up to £5,000.
Missed or Delayed Departure
If your departing flight, to or from the UK, is delayed, World First will cover the cost up to £350 depending on your level of cover. However, if you miss your departure flight, World First will cover the cost up £750.
What Type Of Policies Do World First Offer?
World First offer two main travel insurance policies, single trip and annual multi trip travel insurance. They also provide other travel insurance policies, including Family, Medical, Cruise, Winter Sports, Backpacker and Longstay.
What countries are not covered by World First?
World First will not provide cover for countries or areas which the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) has advised against all travel to. Does World First Cover Pre-Existing Conditions?
