Scratch and Patch logo

Established in 2016, Scratch and Patch provide clear, comprehensive cover that meets the needs of both you and your four-legged friends. They were the first pet insurance provider in the UK to offer a comprehensive product for pets that suffer from pre-existing conditions and allowed them to be screened online, giving UK pet owners the ability to change providers for a better deal.

To claim on your Scratch & Patch pet insurance policy, you'll need to have the following information to hand:
  • Your policy number
  • Your pet's previous veterinary practices
  • Your previous address (if applicable)
You should start the claims process within 60 days of the incident occurring. Scratch & Patch won't pay out for claims that are submitted after 12 months.
